What is this?
The Pattern Manager is where you can create, edit and delete your patterns. Patterns are key when sending Shipping Instructions via the CN eBusiness site as they're the starting point to most transactions with the tool.
When is it used?
The Pattern Manager is used everytime you send your Shipping Instructions to CN.
Create a new pattern:
Check the boxes beside the information blocks you want to include in your pattern, enter a new pattern name and click the Save button.
Create a new pattern from an existing pattern:
Select a pattern from a master list, click the radio button beside the picklist, and click the Edit Pattern button.
Checks are displayed in the boxes beside the information blocks currently in the pattern. Remove checks in the boxes beside information blocks you do not want to include in the new pattern, and place checks beside any other information blocks you do want to include. Then enter a new pattern name and click the Save button.
Edit an existing pattern:
Select a pattern from a master list, click the radio button beside the picklist, and click the Edit Pattern button.
Checks are displayed in the boxes beside the information blocks currently in the pattern. Remove checks in the boxes beside information blocks you want to delete, place checks beside any other information blocks you do want to add and click the Save button.
Delete an existing pattern:
Select a pattern from Your Saved Patterns in the master list, click the radio button beside the picklist, and click the Delete Pattern button. Remember that once you delete a pattern, it cannot be retrieved and anyone who shares your patterns can no longer access it.
